Engrish: “We love car rides”

September 9, 2010

If you’re unfamiliar with Engrish.com, a website that celebrates the hilarity that results from the butchered English that often appears in Asia on clothing, signs, etc., I highly encourage you to become acquainted with the site. It’s worth your time, and worth the stomach pain you will undoubtedly incur from laughing so hard.

Here’s a little Engrish I caught the other day:

"We love car rides - 'I love you,' the red car said"

Hehehe.

Wow, short posts are liberating.

I just bought a sweatshirt in Hong Kong a few hours ago with this on the front with a random photo of some band.

Below the photo, it says this exactly in small letters:

    Acid Rale
Practgit ation which has a PH yukie of jaes than S B and is thertion acidio in antare
it is inspaneable for faising iho acidity of soil and water to many parts of Eocoos
Acid rain is the raetoo why some forstis are being destrotyoc Enecis on traes in Eerope

I’m not sure if this is the greatest sweatshirt ever, or the other one I just bought for CALCIKNLEIN JEANS, which is the most amazingly bad knockoff I’ve ever seen, and has at least 5 or 6 things wrong (or right as I see it). I’m loving them both, and can’t wait to show them off.
